4-Door Leafs

I have a 2-door with shackles. should i get 4-door leafs, is it worth it? i saw them in JCWhitney for $90. does anyone have them to sell or to go to a junkyard? does anyone know how much more lift from 4-door leafs? .5"?

$75 for a basically new set from the junkyard. actually gave me about 1" of lift on its own.
$90 is less than a lot of yards would part them.. i'm guessing $100 as an avg. junkyard price. shipping may be a killer on them. they aren't light.

1" of lift??? wow. does that mean the 4-doors are naturally a full inch higher than the 2-doors? how does the factory compensate for the front of the 4-doors? do the 4-doors have more TT factory?

i just did my torsion twist to match the shackles in the back. i twisted the bolts 6 full turns. i didnt really take good measurements but i tried to get the front about .25"-.5" higher than the back to account for settling and i just hate a sagging front look. i need to get an alignment still, so im waiting to see if ill do the leafs. i wouldnt want to twist the front a full inch higher.

no they don't have a difference up front factory that i know of. the difference is that the 4dr springs hold the weight much better so when put on the sport, you don't sag as much as you did before. that's it. i'm not saying you will get 1". i just happened to find a barely used set of springs.
there are tons of threads on the 4dr leafs swap. do a search and you'll find all the info you need.
its an easy swap and i think its worth it.

nevermind. i just found out that JCWhitney is selling them for $90 EACH, not a pair like i thought. plus, i dont know of any junkyards around me. so im just going to forget it, i dont think it is worth it right now.
