4-pin trailer adapter replacement

I have a 2000 Explorer and my 4-pin adapter is corroded. Is there an easy way to just replace the corroded head? Sorry if this is obvious (I'm a novice).

You already have a wire harness on your truck right?

If you do you can just cut the old adapter off and soder on the new one.

You can also just buy the adapters from your local autoparts stores too.
