4 Wheel Drive Problem

A little problem..... When i hit the button 4x4 light comes on but nothing else happens. So unhooked the motor and it is turning (very SLOWLY) and then i tryed to turn the thing manually and tryed it that way and it made some grinding noise and was hard to get to turn and finally got it to line back up with 2H and put it back on! now i am thinking more guessing that i have to replace T case and motor? I dont think i have hade 4x4 since i aquired the truck6 months ago! Thanks for the Help

WOW i cant explain you valuble this site has been and how much money and time it has saved me in the end! Thats Link for the rebuild of the Electronic shift motor worked out perfect and everything is good now i have 4 wheel drive! Thanks again everyone for your help@ Till we meet again when i have a question!
