40MPH shimmy

It's the only way I can describe it. Driving along at 35-40 there is a pronounced "shimmy" that sounds like you are going over rumble strips and I "think" it's coming from the right/right rear. It's not constant, and there isn't a pattern to it. Lasts maybe 3 or 4 seconds every 3-7 minutes.

It dosen't seem to happen at lower or higher speeds. Did 70+ for 30 minutes this weekend and no prob.

Any ideas?
 






I had the same problem with my 93 at first I thought it was my new swamper trxus sts tires but when i crawled under the truck I noticed that the right rear shock had accually broken off the axle and you would think it would be easy to spot but I wouldnt have noticed it unless I had grabbed the shock and moved it with my hand. it was still attached at the top . It could also be a bad shock that has leaked.
