The factory truck boot just aint right huh?

Worked out just fine for me. The inner boot needed to be reshaped some but the outer boot was easy.

Well that looks really good, I wonder what I was doing wrong. It was really cold when I was dicking with it, maybe it was stiff. I give it another go. Thanks

If you'll look closely at the pic, you'll notice that there was some (very well done) trimming involved in making it fit right.

I trimmed the console because I wanted to tuck the boot to the right all I could to gain leg room. The rubber boot just barely rubs on my leg and If I'd push the boot down the shift shaft and zip tie it there it would not touch my leg at all.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I think I did have to trim the black plastic piece below the rubber boot too.

Yea I tried to get that black plastic piece to fit all kinds of ways, but none of them looked right. I ended up using an aftermarket 4-speed boot from O'Reillys along with the factory ford F-150 Boot over that. Didn't use the black plastic piece at all.
