4hi/4low lights blinking?

my 4hi and 4low lights are blinking at the same time and i know its not a good thing but what is it trying to tell me?

Its trying to tell you that it thinks something is wrong in the 4wd system. The GEM (generic electronic module) is the "brain" that controls the Auto 4wd, and it is trying to tell you that something is wrong. You need a scan tool (or someone with a scan tool) that can read Ford Extended DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes).
