4R44E howto disconnect parking pawl rod?

Anyone know how to unclip the manual valve inner lever and parking pawl actuating rod in my 4R44E transmission? My pin broke off and I need to replace the lever.

I have the nut off but dont see how to unclip the lever from the parking pawl actuating rod. Ford manual says to disconnect but does not say how

Welcome to this forum! One member had this problem a while ago, and used a welding stud gun to weld a stud to the end tip of the broken pin. He pulled it right out. I wish I would have known this trick years ago. I broke a transmission case trying to get that pin out.
