4R44E OR 4R55E Please identify

I have a 95 4.0 with a dead transmission. I bought a used re-man from a guy who said that it was a 4R55E, which is what I believe that I need. When I pulled my trans out this weekend, the casts and dimensions are identical but the electronics are all different. Most notably is the electronic package on the shifter on the trans that I pulled out. see the diagram (part 203). My replacement does not have this part and the shifter looks to be a "push pull" type. Someone please please please tell me what I have, and or what I bought. The pic is the replacement transmission.

The 1st picture shows a 4R44E or a 4R55E. The second picture is an A4LD.

Well it's on ebay now as an A4LD rather than the 4R44E that I originally thought it was... Glad I checked in before a bid hit... Someone would be pissed.
