Should be able to. However, you'll need to put either put in a dummy transfer case & shorter driveshaft or swap the output shafts & tail housing.
 






Not without changing out the output shaft and tailshaft housing.
 












Yes, but the output shaft is the last thing to come out. Chaning it requires essentially a complete dissassembly and then reassembly of the transmission. At that point, you're only the cost of parts from rebuilding it.
