4wd to 2wd

Well I am considerin going from 4 wd to 2wd or unless there is a way to not have the auto 4wd kick in when Im trying to do a burn out. Any help would be super.

Just make sure you read the entire BWM thread and be aware of the possible costly consequences if used for "burn outs".

I just unplug the 4x4 module all the time unless i want the auto to work. I'm not sure if it messes things up but hasn't hurt the truck yet, and i did it most of the winter cause i didnt want it in 4x4 when the roads were just wet and i spun the tire in the parking lot or something.

Did anyone else just unplug there 4x4 module cause that sounds alot easier than the brown wire

An even easier way is to unplug the transfer case -- unplugging the 4x4 module requires you to hack away at some of the interior while the transfer case connectors are right on the inside of the frame rail.
