4wd to awd swap

hope I am in the right place but anyway. My 4wd drive transfer case took a crap a couple of week back so I need to get this up and running soon.I picked up a used transfer case online without a picture but the description and part number all matched up, But when it came in two days ago I opened it up and it is a awd BW4405 not 4wd. since I almost never used 4wd its not that big of a deal for me to lose that option.so I guess my question is can I just do a strait swap and lock the front hubs, let them spin free or do I need a new front end? any advise helps.

if it is an awd it is not a 4405, it's a 4404,

And 4404 will not direct swap to the V6 transmission, Plus with awd you wouldn't want the hubs to spin free as the front wheels help keep an awd parked.
