4x4 and 4x4 low light flash

4x4 and 4x4 low light flash 6 times
i was driving today in my 97 Explorer SOHC and i saw that the 4x4 and 4x4 low light flash 6 times over a period of about 15 seconds. There does not seam to be anything wrong with it shifting gears...but when i turn the Auto, Low, Hi knob, nothing happens.......? its really strange
also my windows have stopped working, could this be related?
Please help i hope to drive 400 miles on monday :-(

I think the shift motor is not engaging the t-case, either that or you got a bad sensor down there, some people have fixed this problem with hitting the t-case with a mallet i believe
