Having some problems engaging the 4wd on my 94 Sport. I push the buttons on the dash, button lights, hear clicking of computer coming from the back. But no front axle engagement. If i shift into 4Lo i get the gear reduction cuz she just creeps. So I'm guessing my problems is the auto hubs up front. I'm just trying to figure my best options to correct this as the snow is coming here in Indiana. Should I just bite the bullet and convert to Warn lockouts? Buy some rebuilt auto hubs? Try the milemarker hubs, anyone have any experience with the MM's? My last option is buying used auto hubs but really dont wanna go that route. I went with a used tranny when my tranny went...been lucky so far but dont wanna take a chance...Can't afford to replace the autos with new ones...Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Jack up all four tires and see if the front drive shaft turns when you hit the button. If it does not, some good tough love on that shift motor may be in order. If the drive shaft turns, more than likely is the hubs. Just remember that with manual hubs, you will have to get out to lock them. I hate having auto hubs becuase of the posibility of them failing, but I also love not having to get out of my truck in the cold or in the mud to lock them.
