Does it feel like your in 4x4. And which light is on the one by the button, the one under the RPM gauge or both?

one on the button it doesnt feel like its on

check and see if 4x4 is locked into place.

just drive the truck on the road and if it is still engaged trust me you will know

Yeah that has happened to me from time to time...The 4x4 light or some times the 4x4 low light will light up half way.. At first I was worried the "T" Case was somehow turning on 4x4, but you can tell on dry pavement that 4x4 is completely off. For a piece of mind you could try turning 4x4 back on then off to reset the light..

ok ill try that when i go driving next

Hey guys, I looked up this thread cuz I'm havin the same prob. I know my truck aint in 4x4 and the 4x4 light by the button (not by the steering column) lights half-way up, flickering halfway on and off sometimes. Same thing happens rarely with the light by the low range button. Both my 4x4 and low range work perfectly still too though, so it's no real big prob, it's just annoying, esp. at night when I can see it clearly lit up a bit. Any1 know what's causing this and how to fix it? I'm guessing it's gotta be an easy fix though.
