Yesterday I decided to do a hill climb, and my 4x4 module wouldent activate. I was like OMG, My back is stuck in mud, and I am in the middle of now were. :mad:Stupid thing works some days and others it wont, like yesterday.

SOO... I was wondering if anyone knows how to make a manual shift activator type thing to engage the 4x4?

Buy a manual Borg Warner 1354 transfer case. They do make them. They mostly get put in 4x4 Rangers. Or just remove the shift motor and jump down underneath your truck with a pair of pliers every time you need to change between 4x4 and 4x2. Sounds like yesterday would have been a bad time to do that.

yea. I got out tho. Alot of reversing and turning :)

well thats a little more than just buying a new module

Mine has had intermittent problems over the years. But its been working consistently nowadays and I've never replaced anything to date. My truck is 9 years old now. knock on wood!
