4x4 not working and fan settings 1, 2, 3 dont work

I need help figuring some things out. My 4x4 worked yesterday but I was messing with fuses replacing some and now my 4x4 nob doesn't work, the lights on the dash never light up or turn on even when I start the truck. Is it the 4x4 control module? Also how do you replace it. My other problem is my fan settings dont work, only on high. Is the motor resistor shot, and if so how do you replace that? Where is it located ? Thanks... 2002 by the way.

Replace the blower motor resistor. On my 2001 it's here

It's the old (and much preferred coil style) Part number RU1098, just ask the person at the parts counter since it may be different if you don't have AC.


I have seen on some others they use the slot card type and it's in the dash beside the 4WD selector I think.
