4x4 SWITCH Question

Al, Glad to see you fixed your 4L issue.. :thumbsup:
I now have 4L, all it took was reseting the module!!

Tony, Once you have the cover off you need to remove the geared sensor (the stop bumper is on the backside facing the T-case).

Never had to venture into this. You are saying that you can just remove the three Torx screws to see this Bumper? The Order of things in the writeup are a bit confusing. There's no real Exploded view of parts to see what is where and which faces which direction.
 






Hi, I'm not the one you are replying to but I did this the other day. The bumper is on the back side of the gear, you won't see it until you pull the gear out, you should mark what position the gear is in before you pull it out, at least I did just to make sure it was back in the way it came out. You can see a stud on the side you're looking at, well on the back side that's what the bumper is on. I took my shift motor completely off and did it on the bench.
