Ok, heres what I get.
When I push the button whether it be 4 high or low I hear a click but a light never comes on. Sometimes after the click I dont even get shifted into 4. I rebuilt my shift motor today and tried shifting into 4 and it worked fine but I still didnt see a light. It engaged and disengaged perfect the first time but the second time it would'nt disengage. I read in a post that if I go to the back where my jack is stored and unplugged the two cables coming out of the black box with the white button on the bottom of it, and then turned the car on and pressed the white button, if it blinked it was the motor and if it stayed the it was the relay that was bad. Mine stayed lite. Now, I dont know where the relay is? Do I look like an idiot yet or is this ok? And when I do find this relay, how do I fix it? Could the relay be causing problems on both ends as far as the motor not shifting properly and the lights on the switch not eluminating?
Thanks
