A type s RSX, stock for stock, would pretty much toast a 5.0 Explorer. A kid I know has one, and it can easily pull a 15 flat in the 1/4, doesn't feel like it at all though...., but for a n/a 4 banger it's quick. Slightly quicker then an Integra Type R, and has better low end (did I just say that about a 4cyc Honda

) then previous Honda 4's.
Comes down to driver also as I beat a Civic Si with an intake and exhaust at the track and I only ran a 16.2 at around 84-85mph (excellent though for a stock 5.0 Mounty) which should have easily beat me. Must have been one of those that believes in "double-clutching"
The main reason our Explorers can toast most of them on the street is b/c of our torque and 3.73 gears on the 5.0......going light to light (only when theres no traffic) I can easily keep up almost neck and neck with my friends Integra Type R unless he drops the clutch near redline and pulls ahead off the line (which isn't something you really want to keep doing as he found out). Once up to speed our stock crappy cam comes into play and their high end advantage lets them pull ahead right away. On a track they should be able to beat us with a good-average driver, fortunatley most of them suck at driving...such as the last time I was at Moroso and the only 8 cars that redlighted that night we're all either Civics, Integras, Eclipes, and a Sentra, pretty pathetic.
About the Supra, the only reason I want to call BS is b/c it's kinda hard to imagine a Supra owner talking/acting like that out of nowhere??? If you do own one just post some pics scince you offered to email/AIM them
