5.0 with manual question

I am in the prosess of installing a 5.0 in my ranger but I want to keep a manual transmission in the truck the engine ecu and harness I have are from a 97 explorer what do I have to do to make the ecu work right with a manual trans any help is greatly apreceated

I think you would have to have the ECM flashed to remove the transmission functions.
If theres one place that you read nothing but good things about, it has to be Henson Performance.
