5 Speed manual trans. Overdrive whine

Hey All, I'm running a 94 4wd with a 5 speed. I bought her with 118,000. The previous owner replaced the tranny just before selling. I've put about 10,000 miles on her. I'm hearing a whine coming from overdrive. I've checked the fluid and is fine.
Does anyone have any info.? I'm asking now so if something is going south, I can catch it early.

Sounds like it could be a bad bearing or shaft, it's kind of hard to tell with out taking out the transmission.

Those are the things that I'm afraid of. I'm going to talk to some of the so called tranny experts here in east Tenn. I'd hate to have to pull a nearly new unit.
