5R55 Transmission Rebuild Tools (Pick What I Need)

Got a 5R55 W/S transmission that I have to rebuild. I haven't looked to see if it is a S or W yet. If I bought the servo bore kit, would anyone be interested in buying it from me after I'm done ($200?)

Also, got the rebuild manual from ATSG which is amazing. There's a list of specialty tools in the back and am wondering what tools are absolutely critical to have to do the rebuild? I bought the transmission oil pump alignment tools 307-431/2 since the pump has to come apart during the rebuild. How about the pump puller (slide hammer or puller 307-397?) Can you get the pump out by yanking on it (after the valve body and bands adjustments are taken care of)?

I think that your forum name is appropriate considering what you are preparing to take on.

I would consider posting this question in the transmission section. Also, there are a couple of good threads on 5R55 builds (E's I think), including discussions of tools needed, even a very energetic discusson on the need for the pump removal tool.

I am guessing that you'll have no problem selling the servo bore sleeving tool afterwards.

False you can hit the shaft with a mallet and loosen it and pull it out
