The overdrive sprag has a nylon/plastic lining, after 150,000. Miles it gets brittle due to aging, heat and wear, this part should rotate in one direction in a free state and lock up on the opposite direction, not all cases will show the OD light flashing but the vehicle will engage on Low 1 and Low 2, if you get lucky you might switch to drive gear as it gains speed and get some going for a few seconds, but unfortunately the tranny has to come down, a good sprag coul be found for around $35 bucks online, good luck and be safe...
