Hello all !
I was in the process of installing a new and updated valve body when I found a bunch of what looks like 4 rows of stuff attached to a flat spot on one side of the pan!! It liiks like four straight rows of silver anti sieze squuzed out of a tube... WHat the heck is that?? THe fluid was a bit burned but it didn't smell too bad... The original complaint was reverse was absent till I reved the motor to 1800 to 2000 rpm. It's got the shift 'flare' thing too. There are no chunks or anything else that looks like it relates to big time damage... But whaddya think?? : - /
And yes... it's my first ford ..1998 Explorer XLT 43000 miles.. 5R55E..
