Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place, first time. Well my Old faithful '00 Explorer finally said it wants attention. After gassing it up to back up a small hill I went to pull out and drive left?? Dropped to second and took off fine. Up shifted back to drive and it worked fine. Came to a stop and no go. Dropped the pan and found blown separator gaskets so I ordered a bonded plate from Tasca along with the low reverse servo kit. Installation went fine it seemed and after starting the truck putting it in drive makes a nasty howl and no forward gear? Reverse, first are solid and second is ok. Bought a cleaned and tested unit and installed that. Now a different whine/howl and only have second and reverse?? I'm lost? I've searched the forum and see many different things? No flashing lights etc? Something else hurt?
