5R55S solenoid pack updated?

Hi all

Does anyone know when Ford updated the solenoid pack for 5R55S?
or rather, how can I tell if I have the updated pack?

My tranny is all good but I have a nice tax return coming and the exchange rate is superb right now so I'm thinking of replacing the solenoid pack if I still have the older version.

i've been searching for this info, apologies if I missed it on the forum somewhere.

I just spent 6 months trying to upgrade my 03 solenoid pack for my 5R55S.

It was done September 03. They also updated the PCMs.

So you can tell by the plugs on your PCM.

If your SUV was made before Aug 03 your SOL there are no new pack available as Ford obsoleted them.

After Aug 03 your good to go.
