6 disc changer

when i got my x,i noticed that it had a 6 disc changer in the console,the guy who sold it to me said its not hooked up and he never used it. the cd player in there has cd player controls,but i can't find the plug. is there an easy way to find it,or do i have to trace it from the console. also once i find it ,is there an adapter i can get to make it work with this cd player? thanks

If aftermarket, do you have any information as to the make and model?

If it is a factory changer, and it originally had the plug, it comes into the front of the armrest from under the cupholder. If you open the console, pull out the kleenex/change holder, and you should see a plug down there. If it isn't there, pull the cargo cubby in front of the radio out, then the cupholder cubby, and you should see it tucked under there, running back towards the armrest. If there is no wire/harness under there, either your Ex had it removed, or it never had one.
