I was the only Explorer in the bunch, but it was a blast. Our group was made up of Rangers, F-150s, a Bronco II and an Explorer. The ground was covered with about an inch of mud/silt with san under it, which made for some nice slick wheeling...

Brian, where is this place? And also, is that all this place is, wide open fields of mud?

There are some nice trails and hills to climb. The ground is mainly made up of sand and mud, but there are some trails going through the woods too. It was a little more gooy because of the rain, but from what I hear it has mud most of the time. There are not "trails" so much as just driving around and finding stuff. I would go back again. Overall, I would say it is a nice place to wheel and it is free. There was alot of the park we didn't get to and some hills that only a locker would get you up.
Dan, you would have fun. It is a cross between Attica and the Pipeline. Pete, all I can say is... I WISH I HAD HAD YOUR BOGGERS!

Cool, yes Brian, i know, boggers ARE awesome... Well, I dunno... The free part sounds nice, but from the few pics I saw, it only looks like lots of fun, if there's been lots of rain... cause mud is good... And Riff and I LOVE mud

What CITY??? I think you said this is near Iowa City, but I cant remember, I think I'll have to go here when I get the 4.56's and 35's on and tear it up, plus, I have an old fling who goes to school down there, free room and bored if you catch what I am saying.

It is 20min south of Cedar Rapids on I380. IMHO I think it is a fun place for people that like mud and like to do a little climbing. The only down side is that there are no rocks to climb. This is actually river bottoms, so there would be mud holes all year round.
