i also have 4 polk 5x7's comming in from cruchfield, and i have a 400 watt 4 channel from my old system.

What 400 watt 4 channel is this??

I'm Not Home Right Now But I Believe It's A Boss

The Off Name Brand Subs Are A Long Story... They Replaced Two 10" Boss

You are lucky to get 100 watts out of that 4 channel amp. I would save up and buy some decent equipment. There is a HUGE difference in sound and output.

You'll be happier in the end with good equipment then crappy flea market stuff

Go easy on the man. As the saying goes, a system is only as good as the install. *low* end equipment can sound good with good installs. *high* end equipment can sound bad with bad installs.

Not being mean or harsh at all...Just trying to give some helpful advice.

Those Polks are some nice speakers though. Just saying that nice speakers will sound better on a nice amp. Why buy a sports car but then buy the cheapest tires????

Budget and priorities. Some people will buy a $50k car, with cloth seats... some buy a $20k with leather. One step at a time... I went through a number of products until finding the things that work for me... some things take time, and helpful advice :)

This I can relate to...

Go easy on the man. As the saying goes, a system is only as good as the install. *low* end equipment can sound good with good installs. *high* end equipment can sound bad with bad installs.

An install shop (gone now), one year, messed up my install... had another shop re-do it, they did a great job. Same equipment, different outcome. Trip.
