83 ranger axles

hey ive been a member for a while now but never really had to post because every question i had was already answered but now i have one. i was wondering if there was any way to swap the axles out of my 83 ranger to my 94 explorer sport?

Your 83 Ranger has the 7.5 rear end which is smaller than the Explorer 8.8. You could do it but, I wouldn't suggest it. Unless your 83 is a 150.

no its just a regular ranger, thanks for the help i was just wondering because i know it was limited slip front and rear and i was hoping i could maybe swap it in but after i read up on it i see that its not a good idea at all
