here is a pic thats forward of the transfercsase. and i dont knoe where it goes, the truck is all back together but this line. dose anyone know, please i cant get a pic small enough. anyway in its in the front of the tramsfercase next to the forward driveline. looks like it connects to a modulator os something. If anyone has a vaccum diagram for a 86 4x4 transfercase that would be great. I looked everywhere

Must've forgot the pic...

Maybe the breather hose?

The modulator needs a vacuum line to it. It most likely hooks to it.

Ya it connects to the transfercase on my 86 bronco 11 4x4 i got to figure out how to put a pic up, but its right next to the 4x4 shifter on the forward side of case

So should i run a vacuum hose from the intake or dose it need acertain mount of vacuum. and is it constant vacuum or off idle vacuum
Thanks:exp:

That is a breather hose, it runs to the vent on the trans if it's a manual trans, then straight up into the manual t-case shifter with a vent cap on top. Do NOT run a vacume line from the t-case to the intake.
