Alright, so, here's going to be the actual log of updates on my '87 Mazda B2000, dubbed Roadrunner! Think yall all know kinda what to expect for a build log, especially yall that are familiar with me, a lot of it will be questions or just my own journaling to remember things, plan etc.. but for starters, pictures and plans! Pictures are listed below, few outside and an in. Long story short, I bought it from the original owner last summer, the truck had sat for around 20+ years in a garage, so the body, frame and such are all in pretty good shape, but the engine is seized. And after months of trying, without ripping the bottom end off, the engine is still seized. So, at this point I've given up trying to free that lil' 2.0. Found a guy that sells upgraded 2.2l engines for $2000, direct swap, so I could easily just go for that over my 2.0 any day. Or, I happen to have access to a free 4.3l CPI Vortec V6 from '95, not too familiar with central port injection, butI do know that it was a more powerful version of the motor. So I'm thinking that could be an awesome swap paired with a T5 or T56, but may juat do the 2.2l for a while so it actually can move, still weighing my options. But oh well, let the thread begin!
