i have a 89 bronco II a4ld. 4wd 160k 3.73 locker in back.
the problem is that when i am stopped and i go wot nothing happens, no shifting. allmost like its stick in overdrive and im taking off in 4th gear. when i go uphill no shifting to a lower gear for more power it just stays at 3k rpm and i can to climb a hill or go fast at all. is my torque converter gone? trans bad? or maybe that vacuum modulater>? i thought my timing chain was gone so i replaced it. and its still the same. hopfully someone can help me, thanks again. - mike
