91 explorer electrical issues.

Brake and tail lights and blinkers not wroking. just replaced ignition module on steering colum. my alternator quit charging and my blower motor lost power. the module fixed that , but im still having issues. my dash light fuse has no power and when i jumped power to it the brake lights stayed on. possible short in the dimer switch? my flashers do work.

Multifunction switch possibly. I think i remember pretty recently someone had theirs going out, and the brake lights were acting up at the same time. My dimmer/headlight switch has been acting funny, headlights won't come on with dash lights, you kinda hvae to wiggle it....

But do the wipers work correctly at all speeds? Blinkers work when you want them to? If they don't I'd say possibly the switch is going out.
