Can anyone help me? First I don't even know if I'm doing this right because I tried to do this about a week ago and got no response from any of you. so,I'll try again.
I gave my truck over to a guy a year ago last June to do a 5.0 conversion. He has run into problem after problem.but has seemed to be able to work thru them.Now though,we have a huge problem..After buying a new cpu,mass air & wiring harness from Ford motorsports,He can't seem to get the injectors to fire. The cpu won't send the signal. He's tried to ask other mechcanics about this problem and it seems that they know what it is that he's not doing but,no one will tell him what to do or what he's done wrong.
If any of you who have done this swap(91 4.0 sport to 5.0)please let me know what it is that we are missing. I know that it has to be something small that has been overlooked. I bought a Helms wiring diagrams and vacuum book too.Maybe there will be something in there that will help!
