4.0 5speed swap to 5.0

I’ve got a 1995 Ford Explorer sport 4.0 with a 5speed. What all would I need to do in order to drop a 5.0 in it and keep the 5 speed and it still seem like a mostly factory car.

You need a 5 speed with the V8 bell housing.

Your current transmission won’t bolt up to a 5.0. If you’re 4wd you’d need a transfer case out of an F series as well. You’d also need to find a way to power, or lock the vacuum disconnect on your front axle to engage it ( or swap in a later model axle without the disconnect)
