I have a 92 4x4 explorer and ai have two questions
a) a have automatic locking hubs, is it nomal for them to get hot even when the 4x4 is not being used.
b) my second question has to do with ABS Brakes. When I turn on the ignition the ABS light comes on for two seconds and then it goes off, which is telling me is working normal up to this point. But as soon as I reach 11 miles per hour the ABS light comes on and stays on for the remaining of the trip.
I checked the speed sensors and they seem ok.
Thank you
Alex. :(

Mine does that to. It's normal for the hubs to get hot. Mine get real hot. And are well greased. As far as the abs goes, mine goofs up all the time. Goes "SPRUNG!" quite often and the light will come on when the truck gets real hot like in a traffic jam. There is a red plug on the driver side of the engine bay that says ABS test. I don't know how to test it. Hope that helps!
