i am going to be putting 2' spacers and add a leafs to get a little more room. I am putting new leaf springs in the back as one is sagging so am doing both but the question is do i need warrior shackles too as i have read that the aal sometimes still don`t give enough lift but with new springs will that be different? i want the back to be alittle higher anyway but will the shackles make it too much? thanks

I guess that all depends on how much you want to lift it... What are you trying to fit under it? If you start off with some rake, remember it will probably go away as soon as you throw a couple hundred pounds of junk in the back...:)

I am looking at 2" of lift but I want a decent looking rake knowing that if it gets some good weight in the back it will go down but with just normal driving i like to have the back end sit higher. i have had 3 ford f250 and 88 ranger and they have all been that way. i just don`t want the back being rediculous. i read that the aal was not enough and that you needed the warriors but i am putting on new springs so was wondering if that would be a big difference.

Most aftermarket shackles have multiple holes to bolt to your springs so they will give you stock height, 1" lift, and 2" lift. or you could just make some at any height by drilling steel plate. If you want 2 inches of lift the shackles alone will do it. And if I'm not mistaken the 92 leafs are mounted under the axle, so spacers will lower you 2 inches. Adding a leaf won't lift you that much, it will mostly just reduce sag and increase load capability. My suggestion would be the shackles because it is a cheap job that only takes a few minutes.
