Hello ,
A friend with a 1992 Ranger with a 5 speed / 4 WD box has broken down in the Fredericksburg , Virginia area of route 95 South. He got the Ranger off the highway and has it safely off the road. He'll be back in the area Monday to see if he can fix it. He say's it popped out of 5th gear while he was cruising down 95 S , 6 hrs. into his trip to Florida. He say's he had no clutch pedal after this incident and somehow managed to get it going from a dead stop in 4th gear.
He managed to get it off at the next exit and it's in a parking lot there now.
Does anyone on this forum know of an honest repair shop in this vacinity that can diagnose this issue ? Any help is very much appreciated !!
