92 wont start.

As soon as i move the ignition from off to 'run' all the dome lights get really dim and the positive terminal on the battery gets VERY hot. I think i have a short but not sure if its in the harness or in the ignition switch. Got any pointers?

Do you have corrosion on the battery terminals? Corrosion creates resistance, and causes problems.

Turns out thats all that it was seemed like the symptoms were worse then they really were

Thanks for the update! At lease it wasn't a major problem. You should put an anti-oxidant on the terminals, and fiber battery terminal ring spacers.
