92 X 4x4 problem

i bought the truck with the clutch shot, got all that fixed today so i wanted to see how the 4x4 works.... there are 2 buttons for the electronic 4x4, when i press it the lights dim and then go back to normal. i havent put to much thought into it yet but can someone tell me some common problems people have with the 4x4 systems. any help would be awsome

its probably the plastic stop in the electric shift motor has broken.

update: it was the transfer case motor, tapped it and now it works perfectly..... problem now is that both my front bearings/auto lock hubs are shot....

i have searched and no luck. if i buy manual locking hubs does it come with the new inner bearings on the nuckle or is that something else i would have to buy. and also can you give me a link to a decently priced auto to manual kit
