92 XLT Questions and Recommendations

Hi all,

Just wanting some advice on a 92 XLT I just got that I want to jack up. I am looking for recommendations and what to do and what not to do with it. Seeing that there are a few of you out there that have gone through the pains of trial and error please feel free to tell me.

This is what I would like 33's or 36's that are at least 12" wide...I went to a shop in St Charles MO and they told me that I can't go over 31's that are at the most 8" wide and they only found one lift kit that would work with the 92.

what should I do when i go to do this.....I am noticing people mentioning axles. Should I go with different ones? How about the tranny?

Please all info would be helpful...beening this is my first truck that I want to jack up.

theres several different lifts you can use. a body lift or a suspension lift or both. 33's and 36's is a big difference in what lift u want to use. and what else you will need to or should use to support them. try the search feature on lifts. that should help you out alot.
