A while back ago, I transferred evey wire harness from my friends 1994 Limited, to my 1991 Explorer body. (Yes, I even took out the dash, and every interior panel to replace 100% of the wiring)
Anyway, For some reason my dome lamps and door lamps don't shut off. They are pemanently ON! (even when I am driving) Luckily the Limited edition's have a battery saver device, and after 15 minutes it turns the interior lights off when my car is off. All my door pins are connected to the harness. Yes, I even replaced the door pins with 94 LTD door pins.
My QUESTION is ...... What factors control the Interior lights in a 93-94 Limited Edition explorer. What makes this complex, is that the Factory Keyless entry and Anti-theft system also take a part in controlling the interior lamps.
Any suggestions?
