Anybody think about throwing a set of 93 cobra's on one of our trucks now that LMR has them in 5-bolt pattern? might look decent. A little syclone/typhoon-ish. If i'm doing my math right, I think they would require a spacer. Anybody good with photoshop want to take a stab at it?

@CDW6212R maybe a set for your snow tires? I know you're not looking for that much offset though.

If you put "svo1990mustang ranger" in Google Images, you'll see them on a Ranger

Interesting, I always liked those, I had a friend with a white 93 Cobra convertible ages ago.

I looked on LMR and see that they make two versions, the Fox version is 26mm offset, and the SN95's are 29.5mm offset. That's a little more than 1/8" difference, but only the SN95 is available right now. The other one lists March 30 as the ship date.

I think you'll need at least 1/4" spacers for sure. The 94-97 Cobra wheels I used are 30mm, and needed the spacer in front for more clearance. Those 93 Cobra wheels are 8.5" wide, the extra 1/2" will put them closer to the ball joints, a 1/4" for the wheels given the same offset.

93 Cobras were all 3 door hatchbacks.....just saying.

I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at.

Also, they came on the Thunderbirds. Perhaps an even cheaper option if you could find them in a junkyard.

I'm saying there were no convertible Cobras back then.

Ah, you're right. My friend's car had the Cobra wheels but not the rear wing, that rings a bell. He was racing it, and it had a Vortech intake at the time, NO2 and High Port heads. It was a rough car, and that was back in 1998-01.

Ah, now I see what's going on. I missed the word "convertible" in Don's post. We're all on the same page now. Apologies.
