I recently tapped my front right fender and bumper off of a guardrail. I easily found a new right fender at a local junk yard, but finding the bumper has proved to be more difficult. It's a 93 explorer limited which means the bumper is different than all other models.
My question is, what makes the bumper different? I've found chrome and painted bumpers at the junk yard but they are not off of limited model explorers. Is the limited just a bumper cover? Can i buy a painted bumper then put my bumper cover on top of the painted bumper?
Anyone know of a place in south florida where i can find a bumper for my 93 limited for less than $450 (the price the local ford dealership quoted me for it)
