i have everything installed on my 3" BL except for the front bumper. i used the templates found on this forum and had them made. i can't get them to work. i have a 97 x. there are two bolts that hold the bumper on each side, one on each side of the frame, but one is recessed farther than the other one, in other words it's like 3/4" - 1" farther back. so when i put the bracket on it's flush, and the bumper will not straighten up. i'm just wondering if anybody else had this problem and how they fixed it. do i need different brackets or what? some help here would be appreciated.

I fought with my front bumper for a good 3 hours, all I can say is have a bunch of large washers (body/fender washers) handy if you want it straight

grinder helps

with the brackets, and some patience, and washers you can get it to look factory again...it will sit forward 3/8" or so from the factory position I believe, no biggie

the olny mods i have done so far is that i had to cut some of the mounts for the foglight/plastic valance but im trying the whole washer thing tonight

There is a real easy solution here, just get a nice aftermarket rear license plate bracket, use it somewhere on the front & leave the bumper in the corner somewhere.....:D ......hahahahaha :)

hey i fixed the problem today put 5 washers about 1/16" thick on each upper bolt and it will correct your tilt problem. the only con is that it pulls your bumper away from the front end but its worth it
