93 Ranger Front End Drift

My 93 Ranger XLT 4cyl 5 spd drifts- I cannot seem to keep a steady track without oversteering. The ball joints have been replaced, new Cooper radials. What could the problem be?

Did you get an alignment after the new balljoints and tires?
I'd also look at the steering shaft for excess play. The rag joints wear out, and the splines where the shaft clamps to the gearbox can strip.
