93 X runs hot with AC on when idlng

Ive got a 93 Ex XLT 4x4... I had the AC retrofitted for 134A in August of 2000 so I didnt use it much after that. Well last summer I was down at the beach sitting in traffic that wasn't moving and I noticed my engine was starting to run hot. I shut off the AC and turned on the Heat and tried to get out of traffic so I could drive and pump some more air thru. Anyways, I took it back to the installer and he checked the charge on it and said it was ok. We left it idling in his lot for nearly an hour and no problems. So while out driving again (not at the beach) and sitting in traffic it started running hot again. I changed the Thermostat and still no difference. I checked the MAS and it was nasty so I just got another one and put it on, no big deal. Everything still runs fine, but anytime I've been driving, then get in traffic, this thing wants to run hot something fierce. Any ideas?

I thought about putting an extra fan to pull more air in or is there a better alternative to this such as type of fan? There is a plastic one (I think, I would check it but I'm overseas and thats kinda hard..) anyways, I'm sure its what ever came factory on it. But I can tell that when the AC comes on it, it makes the engine pull alot harder.

Flush your coolant system. I'm not talking about one of those little Prestone home kits, (they don't do much), go to like Jiffy Lube and have them give your system a high pressure flush. You may not simply be getting enough circulation with the coolant. That would definately be causing the symptoms you are having. If that doesn't work, you may need a new radiator because the high pressure flush didn't dislodge the debris in it (although I doubt this based on your symptoms). One thing further to check is your fan clutch. That may be part of/the problem.
