94 Explorer 4.0 Head/Gasket

My pan gasket came from felpro and was cork.. I can't remember what my spare motor had when I took it apart.. but I do know that I put rtv at the corners where the flat meets the curved at the front/rear of the pan gasket.

as fas as my 98 4.6 4v goes, Felpro supplies Ford's gaskets.

Its possible that felpro supplies Ford, but they dont' ship the same thing. The lower intake gasket from felpro (bought from autozone) was paper. I got one from ford and its metal/rubber. Same thing with valve cover gaskets.. Order from Ford and I get metal/rubber. Get from Autozone/Checker/Kragen adn I get cork.
