Hello all. I have a 94 Explorer that I will be putting my 5th heater control valve in. It has alot of miles on it, 238,000, but it seems that every year lately I have had to replace the heater control valve because it starts to leak. Usually just on the underside where the vacuum hose goes. Started having this problem about 5-6 years ago. Wondering if others out there have had similiar problems. No matter if I put in an aftermarket or one from my Ford dealer, it seems to start leaking somewhat soon after. Do you think they are just not being made as well as they use to be or is something else in the heating system causing this problem. Thanks.
